2. What grades do I need to get in?
   

   Good ones. And often these will not be enough. The main reason why we say this is because it is tough to follow a Medical Degree abroad and you must be academically capable. Otherwise you will be wasting your time. Some Medical Universities will accept you with less than perfect grades if they perceive that you have a passion for the subject and you can demonstrate your ability in other ways.

3. Will my degree be recognised?

   This is a highly important consideration when choosing to study Medicine abroad. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of any information that we give you in this respect and so would advise you to check with General Medical Council about the suitability of any particular University's Medical qualifications. However, we can confirm that there are many Medical Schools around the world that specialise in teaching International Students.

4. What are the tuition fees for studying Medicine, Dentistry for International Universities?

   The fees would range from 2000USD to 11000 USD per year. This could change and will be different from one university to another.

5. Will I get refund if I fail to make it to University?

   Application fees are normally non- refundable. Tuition fees shall be refunded if the student can furnish the clear reasons for not making it to the University like the visa rejection letter. But it remains in the sole description of the University and their refund policies.

6. Is it safe to study Abroad?

   Yes but doing research on your study abroad destination is crucial to learning how to stay safe while abroad. Information is available about security warnings, crime rates and political stability. Consulates can help you in the event of an emergency, illness, injury or other situations. Study abroad students should register their travel with the State Department.

7. Do I need to take IELTS/TOFEL score for studying Abroad?

   For European Medical Degrees IELTS/TOFEL scores are not required. For English speaking countries we do require IELTS/ TOEFL score.

8. Are these Universities WHO recognised?

   All top Medical Colleges would be recognized by the WHO and other recognized Medical bodies. However there are many Medical bodies which provides of accreditations for the Medical Schools.

9. Can I come back to India and Practice? What is the test that I need to pass for that?

   Yes. You can practice in India provided you clear the MCI examinations.

12. How many years is Medicine Study?

    Medical Degree abroad generally is of 6 years. In North America it is offered as a post graduate course. The student must have completed a 4 year UG Degree in Science. Before they get admitted to a Medical School. In Europe it is provided as a 6 year UG Degree.

13. What are the visa requirements for the Indian students admitted to one of the European Universities? You would need to apply for a Schengen Visa, if you plan to study in Europe. This enables people from outside Europe the right to move freely within the signatory countries of the Schengen Agreement as internal borders checks no longer exist within Europe.

14. What documents do I need when I apply for a student visa? You have to inquire at the Embassy or Consulate General in order to be certain, usually the following documents need to be submitted:
    • Proof of your previous studies (and a higher education entrance qualification recognized in EU)
    • Proof of admission from your University (or confirmation that you are soon to receive a letter of admission)
    • Proof of your Health Insurance Coverage
    • Proof of possessing sufficient Financial Resources and
